Susan earned her BSE & MSE from the University of Central Arkansas and was voted “One of the Outstanding Young Women in America 1977”. Married thirty-one years, she is the mother of two, grandmother of four, and is actively involved in various cooperative programs and volunteer efforts in Middle-Tennessee. A retired classroom teacher in the states of Arkansas, California, and Texas, she also holds a Master Diver status and is a Scuba Ranger Instructor - teaching youngsters diving basics and principles, elevating their level of self-esteem while improving self-confidence. Honorary member of the Foundation's International Skydiving Team.
Larry C. Wallace, Benton, Arkansas Board of Directors / General Counsel / Corporate Relations Larry Wallace began his legal career in 1969 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. His law firm grew to be the largest law firm outside of Little Rock maintaining offices in Little Rock, Washington, D.C., and London. Appointed in 1992 by then Governor Bill Clinton as a Special Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. He is licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, all Federal Courts in Arkansas, the Supreme Court of the State of Arkansas, the Courts of the District of Columbia, Washington, D.C., and the Supreme Court of the State of Texas. Mr. Wallace received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he was an associate editor and contributor of the Arkansas Law Review. He has been distinguished as an outstanding alumnus of the School of Law. He has received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Philander Smith College. Presently Mr. Wallace travels extensively to any/all points on the globe to promote diplomatic, humanitarian, and good will missions. His friendship to this family and service to the Foundation is held to the highest esteem and with deepest gratitude.
Graduate from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology in 1972 and a Master of Science in Education and Special Education in 1992. Currently she is an Instructional Specialist in Special Education and is the Secondary Coordinator of Special Services in the Greenbrier School District.
Terry K. Balentine, Murfreesboro, Tennessee Director / Corporate Business Relations / Military Liaison Graduate of the University of North Alabama, Retired U.S. Army Officer. Retired Chief Pilot for Fortune 500 Corporation. Former Ex-Pat Contractor. Present employment status under non-disclosure restrictions and agreements. Mr. Balentine and Robert's dad served as Ex-Pat contractors in the Middle-East where their bonds of friendship and comradarie were molded. When their U.S. managers deserted the Americans on the evening of September 12,2001, the two men had developed their personal contingency and emergency evacuation plan and were prepared to shoot their way out of Saudi Arabia. Fortunately for the locals, it wasn't necessary. Mr. Balentine's business and military acumen are vital for the success of this Foundation and those it seeks to assist.
Business Communications major at Baylor and Troy University. Has participated in a variety of community service roles including directing the fundraising initiative for Habitat of Humanity with President & Mrs. Carter in Waco, Texas in 1998. Top sales producer for media consortium in the U.S. with distribution in Europe. Her responsibilies are to raise money for soldiers their families and civilians in multiple areas including but not limited to, continued education, various certification programs, general living needs,disaster relief missions, and the Pillows for Patriots Program in which she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for the FRG of the 1-32 CAV, Ft. Campbell, KY in 2010. Honorary member of the International Skydiving Team and active Advanced Scuba Diver with specialties in Deep, Wreck, and Stress & Rescue Diving.
